Bangladesh Coast Guard personnel recovered 41,400 metres of illegal current net worth Tk 1.2 million from Chowdhuryghat in Chandpur town on Friday. Acting on a tip-off, a team of Coast Guard, led by its Sub-lieutenant Jakir Hossain conducted a drive at Chowdhuryghat in the district town and seized 41,400 metres of current net worth more than Tk 1.2m in the afternoon, according to UNB.
