Customers of DESCO can pay electricity bill thru' Pubali Bank

Pubali Bank Limited and Dhaka Electric Supply Company (DESCO) Limited recently signed an agreement for DESCO Bill (Prepaid & Postpaid) payment through internet banking/PI banking apps, said a press release.
Md Rabiul Alam, DGM & head of ADC Division, Pubali Bank Limited, and Engr Md Atiqur Rahman, company secretary of DESCO, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the deal, customers of DESCO will be able to pay their prepaid and postpaid electricity bills through Pubali Bank Internet Banking/PI Banking Apps. The bills will be updated in DESCO database in real time.
Kh Zoherul Islam, joint secretary and executive director (Finance & Accounts), DESCO; Md Mominul Islam, general manager (Finance & Accounts), DESCO; Engr Shamim Ahsan Chowdhury, chief engineer (ICT Division), DESCO; and Md Shahin Shahria, GM & head of Gulshan Corporate Branch, Pubali Bank Limited, were also present on the occasion.
