CWASA consumer can pay bills thru' Banglalink

Banglalink and Chittagong Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (CWASA) have signed an agreement to enable mobile-based water and sewerage bill payment.
CWASA Secretary Md Moksedur Rahman and Banglalink Chief Commercial Officer Asher Yaqub Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at the Ambrosia in Chittagong city Tuesday.
Chittagong City Corporation Mayor ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury was present as the chief guest of the signing ceremony, said a press release.
CWASA Chairman Engineer AKM Fazlullah, Banglalink Marketing Director Shihab Ahmad, Head of PR and Communication Solaiman Alam, and Regional Commercial Head Bishwajit Paul were also present on the occasion.
According to the agreement, Banglalink will collect water and sewerage bills from CWASA customers.
Chittagong WASA consumer will soon have the option of paying their water and sewerage bills seven days a week with minimal cost and effort. They can pay their bills through their own mobile phones or from any of the Banglalink Bill Payment points at the designated area of CWASA.
