Cyber centre at DU central library

DU CorrespondentbrDhaka University (DU) set up a cyber centre in its central library with 27 computers costing Tk 1.6 million from the university's own fund.brWe have launched the centre to keep our teachers, students, researchers, officials and employees updated with information and technology providing 7-hour internet service in a day, DU Vice-Chancellor SMA Faiz told reporters at the inaugural function of the centre Saturday.brDU Pro-VC AFM Yusuf Haider, Acting Librarian Khandaker Fazlur Rahman and Syeda Farida Parvin (planning and development), among others, attended the function.brThe cyber centre will remain open from 9 am to 3 pm in Ramadan and from 930 am to 430 pm on other times apart from the holidays.
