Cyclonic storm Fani likely to spare BD

The maritime ports of Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to keep hoisted distant warning signal no two as the Cyclonic storm 'Fani' over southeast Bay and adjoining area moved north-northwestwards further over the same area, reports UNB.
It was centred at 6 am on Sunday about 1745 km south of Chattogram port, 1665 km south of Cox's Bazar port, 1725 km south of Mongla port and 1685 km south of Payra port, said a Met office bulletin.
It is likely to intensify further and move in a northwesterly direction.
Maximum sustained wind speed within 54 kms of the cyclone centre is about 62 kph rising to 88 kph in gusts/squalls. Sea will remain very roung near the cyclone centre.
