Cyclonic storm 'WARD' moves northwards

The cyclonic storm 'WARD' over the southwest Bay and adjoining southeast Bay moved slightly northwards Saturday. It was centred at 4:00 pm Saturday about 1585 km south-southwest of Chittagong port, 1515 km south-southwest of Cox's Bazar port and 1480 km south-southwest of Mongla port, said a Met Office special bulletin. "It is likely to intensify further and move in a northwesterly direction," the bulletin said. — UNB
