D-8 secy gen calls on Muhith

Dr. Seyed Ali-Mohammad Mousavi, secretary general of D-8, a forum of eight developing Muslim nations, Tuesday called on Finance Minister AMA Muhith at his office, reports UNB.
Mousavi discussed with the finance minister the next D-8 summit scheduled in Turkey in October this year, sources said.
The Developing-8 forum was launched in 1997 to enhance economic cooperation among founding member nations: Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan and Turkey.
