DAE holds three-day agri fair in Gopalganj

GOPALGANJ, Mar 4: A three-day agriculture fair was held in the Shilpakala Academy premises in the town recently.
The fair was organised by the Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE), Gopalganj.
Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj SM Asfaque Hossain inaugurated the fair as chief guest.
DAE Additional Director (AD) of Barisal Area Safiur Rahman, superintendent of police were special guests, while deputy director, Gopalganj and upazila agriculture officers, among others, attended the function.
As many as 21 agriculture product stalls were set up in the fair.
The deputy commissioner distributed prizes in the evening on the concluding day to the farmers who were awarded for their products in the fair.
