Daffodil Varsity team off to Malaysia

A two-member delegation comprising Prof Dr M Lutfar Rahman, Vice Chancellor and Md Emran Hossain, Director (Administration) from Daffodil International University left for Malaysia Saturday to attend second Asia-Pacific University - Community Engagement Network (APUCEN) Summit 2014 to be held from September 21-23, 2014 at Royal Hotel, Penang, Malaysia, said a press release.
The Asia-Pacific University - Community Engagement Network (APUCEN) is a regional network of higher educational institutions, organisations and corporate bodies that strive to make positive transformation in the community through collaborative effort.
The theme for the 2014 summit, "Leadership in Transforming Community for a better tomorrow" highlights the leadership roles of APUCEN members in driving community engagement for positive and sustainable change in the community.
It provides an ideal platform for all APUCEN members to meet and network partnership and collaboration at the international level. The summit also aims to promote greater networking with relevant stakeholders such as government agencies, corporate, NGOs, multinational corporation (MNC) in the Asia and Pacific Region.  
Prof Lutfar Rahman will give presentations on community engagements at the workshop and share experiences in parallel sessions and keynotes.
