New executive committee of The Daily Star's Press Sramik Karmachari Union (PSKU) has been formed consisting of 10 members for 2011-2013. Md Monirul Islam Bhuiyan and Md Minhaj Uddin have been elected unanimously president and general secretary respectively. The committee was formed at a meeting at the daily's office Friday with outgoing president of the union Md Zakir Hossain Mollah in the chair. Other office-bearers of the EC: vice-presidents -- Md Shamim Chowdhury and Md Zakir Hossain Khan, assistant general secretary -- Md Yousuf Ali, orgranising secretary -- Md Elias, treasurer -- Md Saiful Islam and members -- Md Abul Hashem, Asimuzzaman Joy and Safayet Hossain Manik.
