DAM develops sustainable model for pre-childhood, primary education

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has developed sustainable model for qualitative development of pre-childhood and primary education through Community Learning Action Project (BIKASH), reports BSS.

This project has helped increasing percentage of school going children and number of stipends, reducing the number of drop-outs and strengthening relations between the community and school.

A total of 36,721 children have been benefited under this project. This was disclosed at a seminar at the DAM auditorium, Dhanmondi in the city Thursday.

DAM Executive Director M Ehsanur Rahman presided over the seminar.

BIKASH Project Manager Dewan Shorab Uddin presented the evaluation findings while Plan Bangladesh Country Director Edward Thomas Espey, Learning Adviser Probak Karim and DAM Programme Division Director Shafiqul Islam spoke on the occasion.
