DAM distributes relief goods among Aila-hit families

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) has distributed emergency relief materials among 20,600 Aila-affected families in seven unions of Shyamnagar Upazila in Satkhira, Barguna Sadar and Patharghata upazilas in Barguna and Kalapara Upazila in Patuakhali, says a press release.
DAM President Kazi Rafiqul Alam distributed the relief materials among 600 Aila-hit families of village Patakhal under Padmapukur union of Shyamnagar Upazila in Satkhira district on 4 June.
Each family received 8 kg rice, 1 kg pulse, 500 gram Soyabean oil, 1.5 kg potato, 1 kg onion, 500 gram salt, two soaps, four candles and a match box as relief. Besides, 13,500-gallon pure drinking water was supplied to Shyamnagar Upazila every day.
