Dangerous and unscrupulous drug manufacturers

A very important and relevant article on the subject was published in a local English daily on 11th February. This matter must be noted and acted upon by the relevant government authorities at the soonest. The Ministry of Health must aggressively follow up in details and take tough punitive action as needed against the 29 listed manufacturers, named in the article. There should be repeated surprise checks followed by instant punitive measures against the offenders. This will carry a loud and clear message that safety of public health is not further harmed by such unscrupulous drug manufacturers.
The pool of experts, as mentioned and named in the report, has to take firm actions to eliminate all fake manufacturers of life-saving drugs. The media also can play a big role here. They can carry out independent and critical investigations and make them public.
The matter needs to be tackled on a priority basis for national health care safety.
