Danish envoy meets Khaleda

Danish Ambassador to Bangladesh Hanne Fugl Eskjaer met BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia on Saturday. The nearly hour-long meeting that began around 7:50pm was held at the BNP chairperson’s Gulshan political office. BNP vice chairman Shamsher Mobin Chowdhury and chairperson’s adviser Sabihuddin were present at the meeting. Party sources said various issues relating to mutual interests, latest political developments in Bangladesh and 10th parliamentary polls came up for discussions at the meetingAfter the meeting with the Danish envoy. Khaleda also sat at a meeting with self-claimed chairman of Jatiya Party Kazi Zafar Ahmed, according to a news agency.
