'Pir' of Dariapur Sharif Hazrat Moulana Shah Sufi Alhaj Prof Hasan Abdul Quayyum left Dhaka Sunday night by Emirates Airlines to attend the International Pir Conference in Kampala, the capital of Uganda.
The conference will be held on March 19 on the occasion of the holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (SAW).
Pirs from about 108 countries will take part in the conference.
Meanwhile, Syed Mir Shamiul Mahfooz (Shamim), Director, Institute of Hazrat Mohammad (SAW), also left Dhaka on the day to attend the international conference.
They will return home on March 23.
