Darsana customs collect Tk 600m rev last fiscal

CHUADANGA, Jul 8 (BSS): The Darsana customs have collected Tk 60,66,28,806 revenue on more than 30 heads during the fiscal 2006-2007.
According to an official source, the revenues were collected from import and export duties, sales tax, development tax, income tax and collection on various heads.
The target for revenue collection of the Darsana customs was earmarked at Tk 37,63,00,000.
However, Tk 23,03,28,806 was collected over the target.
The revenue collection of the customs was Tk 25,54,15,222 during the last fiscal, sources said.
