Data collection for voters' list begins in M’singh

MYMENSINGH, Aug 16 (BSS): Preparation of voters' list with photographs and national identity (ID) cards has started in the Mymensingh Municipality areas in association with the members of the army Wednesday.
Sources said door-to-door distribution of relevant forms to collect data for registration of voters has begun in five wards of the municipality in the first phase.
On completion of listing of the voters in the five wards, another five wards will be selected for data collection.
The whole process will be completed within a month, the sources added. Taking of photographs of the voters to be started from August 19 at the registration camp.
A total of 21 assistant registration officers, 107 supervisors, 516 data collectors have been employed for the purpose.
