Day temperature may fall by 1-3 °C today

Light to moderate rain/showers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Khulna, Barishal, Rajshahi & Dhaka divisions and at many places over Rangpur, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to heavy falls at places over the country until 6:00pm today (Thursday), according to Met office.
Mild heat wave is sweeping over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and it may abate from many places.
Day temperature may fall by (1-3)°C over the country. Night temperature may fall by 1-2°C over southern part and it may fall slightly elsewhere over the country.
The country's maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 37.8 degrees Celsius in Mymensingh and minimum was 26.0 Celsius in Kutubdia of Cox's Bazar.
The highest temperature in the city was recorded at 37.1 degrees Celsius and the lowest was 30.0 degrees.
