Daylong hartal in Sylhet Monday

Amra Sylhetbasi, a local social organisation, on Saturday called a day-long hartal in Sylhet district for Monday protesting the implication of the name of Sylhet City Corporation mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury in the supplementary charge-sheet in the former Finance Minister Shah AMS Kibria murder case. Amra Sylhetbasi president Abdur Razzak announced the shutdown from a mass rally held at the Court Point in the city in the afternoon, according to a news agency.
