DB accuses BNP men of cop killing

The Detective Branch (DB) of Police has submitted two charge-sheets accusing 89 leaders and workers of the BNP for a bomb attack that killed a policeman in Rajshahi last year. BNP Joint Secretary General Mizanur Rahman Minu, Rajshahi City Mayor Mosaddek Hossain Bulbul and central leader Nadim Mostafa were among the accused. Police constable Siddhartha Roy died after a bomb was thrown from BNP-led 18-party alliance protest procession on a police patrol vehicle at Rajhata in Rajshahi city on December 26, 2013, according to a news agency.
