DB introduces new uniform

The Detective Branch (DB) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has introduced new uniform for its members having quick response code (QR code).
Additional Commissioner Md Harun Or Rashid came up with the disclosure at a press briefing held at its media centre in the capital on Monday.
He said the new dress has QR code. Details of the persons during the drives could be known through scanning of the QR code. The QR code could be scanned through mobile phone app, he added.
DB police arrested six alleged robbers from Toyenbee Circular Road at Motijheel in the capital on Sunday who falsely identified themselves as DB personnel.
