Plainclothes policemen in overnight raids in the city Saturday nabbed six young men for their alleged involvement in the killing of businessman Mobarak Ali, police said.
Acting on a tip off, a team of DB (detective branch) police conducted drives at Sonalibagh and Mogbazar areas at the dead of night and arrested Rajib Hawlader.
Based on his confessional statement, the detective police arrested Ferdous Hossain, Polash Khan, Ramjan, Shakil Laskar and Jantu Islam from the city's Mogbazar, Nayatola and Khilgaon areas.
