DB police arrest six over teenage boy murder in city

Detectives in a drive arrested eight people from different areas of the capital on Saturday night in connection with the murder of a teenage boy in Dakhshin Khan area, reports UNB.
Masudur Rahman, deputy commissioner (media) of DMP, said that a team of North DB police conducted drives in different areas and arrested them.
The details about the arrest will be revealed at a press briefing at DMP media centre.
The 17-year-old boy Mehedi, hailing from Patuakhali, came to visit his friend's residence in the area. Mehedi and his friend had an altercation with some local adolescents over a trifling matter.
Later, Mehedi was beaten dead during a clash over the issue on August 31.
