DB policeman suspended in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Apr 12: One Assistant Sub Inspector of Detective Branch of Police (DB) was suspended for sexual harassment of a housewife of Court Road area in Narsingdi town Sunday. The suspended ASI is identified as Sharif of Narsingdi DB police department. Police and local sources said ASI Sharif went to one Zaman's house at Court Road in absence of the victim's husband and tried to violate her. As the housewife shouted for help local people rushed to the spot and shut the door before informing the SP Narsingdi. The SP rushed to spot and rescued the housewife and arrested ASI Sharif.
