DB recovers 21 cars

Detective police (DB) Monday arrested four alleged car thieves from Dhaka and Keraniganj hours before recovering 21 stolen CNG-run taxis. A police team arrested Shahid alias Kana Shahid from the city's Airport area Sunday, who was leading the gang. Following Shahid's confessional statements, the plainclothes policemen picked up his four other accomplices - Mukul Bhuiyan alias Kabir, Dulal and Minto alias Noakhilya Minto - from Keraniganj on the outskirts of the capital.Later, the law enforcers recovered 21 stolen CNG-run three wheelers from various parts of the country. — FE Report
