DBBL 3-day plastic surgery operation held at Feni

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) organised a three-day plastic surgery operation under its Smile-Brighter Camp Programme at Feni recently for the poor cleft-lipped boys and girls at the bank's own cost to bring back enduring smile on their faces.
The operations were performed at IBN Hasman Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Feni by a surgery team headed by eminent plastic surgeon AJM Salek.
Some 75 cleft-lipped boys and girls have been enlisted for surgery and 50 of them were operated successfully.
DBBL Medical Consultant Dr Mozammel Hossain Khan visited the hospital and inquired about the condition of pre and post operative patients.
Also present in the programme were DBBL Feni Branch Manager Md Monzurul Kabir, Senior Surgery Consultant Omar Faruque and Chairman of IBN Hasman Hospital and Diagnostic Centre Md Monir Ahmed along with parents of the cleft-lipped boys and girls, local doctors, journalists and elite.
