DBBL donates Tk 2.5m for distressed people of Ctg

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) donated Tk 2.5 million (25 lakh) for the distressed people of Chittagong.
DBBL Managing Director Md Yeasin Ali handed over the cheque of the said amount to Adviser for Communications, Shipping, Civil Aviation and Tourism, and Liberation War Affairs MA Matin at Chittagong Circuit House in the port city recently.
Among others, Chittagong Divisional Commissioner Md Muklesur Rahman, Deputy Commissioner Ashraf Shamim and other high officials of district administration and elites of the city were present on the occasion.
The communications adviser appreciated the role of the bank for various social and philanthropic activities.
This donation of DBBL is very timely and would inspire others to stand by the side of the people of Chittagong, he said.
