DBBL opens branch at Satkhira

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) has opened its 80th branch at Satkhira Sadar.
Managing Director of the bank Md Yeasin Ali formally inaugurated the branch at Meherun Plaza on the Boro Bazar Sorok at Satkhira Sadar Wednesday, said a press release.
Like other branches, the newly inaugurated branch also provides on-line banking facilities to its clients from the opening day.
Speaking on the occasion, the managing director mentioned that the bank had the largest on-line banking network in the country and it had invested huge amount of money to expand the banking network all over the country.
The bank is giving emphasis on financing to the small and medium sectors of the rural economy, he pointed out.
Mr Ali said the bank gives priority to deliver the remittance to its beneficiaries very carefully and efficiently.
Business personalities, industrialists, bankers, educationists, journalists and owners of business houses/shops attended the inaugural function, the release added.
