DBBL organises 'Smile-Brighter' programme in Rangpur

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) recently organised a four-day plastic surgery programme in Rangpur district for the poor cleft-lipped boys and girls to bring back the endearing smile on their faces at its own cost under the DBBL 'Smile-Brighter' programme.
The operations were performed at Prime Specialised Hospital in Rangpur district town, said a press release.
A plastic surgery team consisting of 10 members headed by Dr Sharif Hasan conducted the programme. About 60 cleft-lipped boys and girls have been successfully operated upon in the programme.
DBBL Managing Director Md Yeasin Ali and Medical Consultant and Coordinator of its Foundation Dr Mozammel Hossain Khan visited the cleft-lipped boys and girls who were operated upon under this programme.
ENT specialist Dr Ferdous Quader Minu, and Project Director and Consultant of Prime Specialised Hospital were also present, among others, on the occasion.
