DBBL, Renata receive ICAB National Awards

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited has been adjudged winner of 8th ICAB National Award for the Best Published Accounts and Reports in the Financial Sector (Banking) category for the year 2007.
DBBL Additional Managing Director AHM Nazmul Quadir received the award from Finance and Planning Adviser AB Mirza Md. Azizul Islam at a ceremony held at the China-Bangladesh Friendship Conference Centre in the city recently.
DBBL has been receiving awards every year for its published accounts and reports since introduced by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB), says a press release.
Renata Limited, country's one of the leading Pharmaceutical and Animal Health products manufacturing and marketing companies, has also been awarded the 8th ICAB National Awards from the manufacturing sector.
Renata General Manager (Finance) and Company Secretary Shaflul Alam received the award from the finance adviser at the same function.
Earlier, Renata was awarded by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) for its 2007 annual report.
