DBBL's orientation course for newly recruited officers begins

Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) began a seven-day orientation course for the newly recruited assistant officers of the bank at the DBBL Training Centre in the city Saturday.
DBBL Managing Director Md Yeasin Ali inaugurated the course as the chief guest.
The DBBL managing director welcomed the officers in banking profession and emphasised the need for commitment, devotion, sincerity and continuous training for the newly inducted officers to meet the ever-growing business needs of the clientele.
He also said the success of a bank mostly depends on the core workforce of the bank and advised the officers to update knowledge about banking business in order to perform their duties efficiently.
Punctuality is very much inneed in the banking profession, he added.
DBBL Deputy Managing Director (Administration) KS Tabrez, DMD (Operation) Ghulam Kabir, Executive Vice-president and Head of Training Tasnim Uddin Ahmed, and Senior Vice-president and Head of Human Resource Division Md Shams-Uddin Ahmed also spoke on the occasion.
A total of 24 newly recruited assistant officers of the bank are taking part in the week-long training course.
