DBL officers donate one day's salary to help flood victims

The flood relief committee of the Dhaka Bank Limited (DBL) has decided to deduct one day's basic salary of the employees (officer and above) to assist the flood-hit people of the country as a part of corporate social responsibility of the bank.
In this connection a simple ceremony was held at the DBL board room in the city Tuesday.
DBL Managing Director Shahed Noman handed over the payment order of their one day's basic salary amounting to Tk 4,31,100 only to Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) President Kazi Rafiqul Alam for their ongoing rehabilitation programme.
Also present in the ceremony were DAM Head of Resource Mobilisation Division Kazi Nabiul Haque, Coordinator MA Hai and DBL Head of Marketing Golam Hafiz Ahmed, Company Secretary Arham Masudul Huq and Assistant Vice-president (PR) Azam Khan.
