DCCI delegation leaves for China to attend Kunming fair

A 32-member trade delegation of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) left Dhaka for China Friday to participate in the 18th China Kunming Import and Export Commodities Fair 2010.
DCCI Senior Vice President M Shahjahan Khan led the delegation. DCCI is the co-organiser of the fair, said a press release.
DCCI Director MA Baten accompanied the team as deputy-leader. DCCI directors Rafiqul Islam Khan, M Bashir Ullah Bhuiyan and former director Saiful Islam were in the team.
Bangladesh will have unique opportunities to display handicrafts and cottage products, RMG, leather and leather products, artificial jewelries and jute goods in the fair. Entrepreneurs of these industries have been included in the delegation.
Besides, participation of DCCI delegation in the Kunming Fair will expand market of Bangladeshi products in vast Chinese market and strengthen bilateral trade relations between the two friendly countries.
The delegation is scheduled to return home Friday next week.
