DCCI holds workshop

A training programme on Environmental Auditing, organised by Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) in cooperation with GTZ under its project on the Promotion of Social and Environmental Standards in SME, was held at DCCI auditorium in the city recently.
The training programme covered all related issues on environmental auditing including ISO 14001, Way Forward to EMS for ISO 14001: 2004, ISO 14001 Requirements, Environmental Auditing Principles, legal and other requirements for Environmental Auditing etc., says a press release.
A total 25 participants from different export houses, merchandising farms, compliant officials of different private companies participated in the course.
DCCI Senior Vice President M Shahjahan Khan inaugurated the course. In his speech he laid emphasis on quality requirements and requested participants to utilize the expertise of the resource person and hands on exercises to gain practical knowledge on the topic.
