DCCI supports 'day-light saving plan' proposal

Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) announced its support to the proposal of Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) on 'day-light saving plan' as the scarcity of electricity becomes intense, said a press release.
The BERC has proposed to forward one hour time at 11pm from April 13, 2009 in the proposal sent to the Prime Minister.
The chamber has been supporting the issue at different fora since 2007.
DCCI considers that this system would be timely and functional under the prevailing circumstance.
