DCCI thrust on need-based HR development

Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) organised orientation-cum-certificate awarding ceremony of modular learning system in supply chain management on Saturday in the city.
Industries Minister Dilip Barua handed over the certificates among the participants, a statement issued by DCCI said.
The minister said supply chain management system can play a vital role in becoming competitive and face the challenges of globalization for the developing countries.
He called upon both the private and public sector to work together to develop need-based human resources development programmes to accelerate the pace of industrialization in the country.
He said that this kind of courses will help coordinating purchasing, logistic and inventory management to cut cost and increase profit and customer satisfaction.
DCCI President Abul Kasem Khan in his address of welcome said that DCCI Business Institute (DBI) conducts specialised need-based training courses at the request of various Ministries, business organizations and development partners.
