DCCI trade team off to Malaysia

An 11-member business delegation of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) left the city here for Malaysia Thursday night to attend a series of business meetings there.
DCCI President Mohammad Shahjahan Khan is leading the delegation which will attend various business meetings to be held from Friday-Sunday, said an official at the DCCI, reports UNB.
The delegation members also includes DCCI directors Abdus Salam, Hossain A Sikder, Md Shoaib Choudhury, AKD Khair Mohammad Khan, KG Karim, former vice president M Abu Hurairah, former director and Convener of Trade Delegation and Trade Fair Standing Committee Sayed Habibur Rahman and DCCI members Mohammed Mia Hossain and Mahmood Hossain.
They will meet business leaders in Malaysia and have bilateral business meetings and B2B Match-Making Session with the Klang Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The DCCI delegation will take part in the second Klang Yiwn Friendship Cities International Commodities Exhibition, scheduled to be held today (Friday).
The DCCI president will have meetings with the Malaysia investors to woo them for investing in Bangladesh.
The trade delegation will return home on December 7.
