DCs to supervise construction of working women\\\'s hostels

The deputy commissioners (DCs) will supervise the construction work of working women's hostels that will be started after the allocation of land across the country. The decision came from a working session of women and children affairs ministry during the three-day DCs' Conference in the city. During the meeting, the DCs decided to take initiatives to activate teenagers club in every area to prevent early marriage. They will also increase campaigning so that people can seek help by calling 10921, the helpline of women and children affairs ministry to prevent women and children repression in the country. They will also take legal steps and monitor system to increase awareness about pernicious effects of child labour and drop out of students, Cabinet Division's Joint Secretary Ashraf Shamim has said, according to a news agency.
