Deal to upgrade substation capacity in Comilla signed

A contract was signed Wednesday to upgrade Comilla South Substation's capacity to facilitate import of 100 MW electricity from Tripura. Power Grid Company of Bangladesh (PGCB) signed the contract with Energypac Engineering Ltd, a loca firm. According to the contract, the Energypac will supply and install two bays, each having 132 kV capacity, for the Comilla South substation. — UNB
