Dealing with quacks
Monday, 14 September 2009
QUACKS who falsely claim themselves to have special knowledge and skills in medicine are found in the busy streets, railway stations, terminals etc., selling their medicine. They are, indeed, very popular among the illiterate people. By songs, convincing lectures or by any other tricks, they succeed in attracting crowd of listeners in order to sell their so-called medicine. They say that they can cure all serious diseases that modern medical science failed! The simple-minded people are often being cheated by them. Under the circumstances, the authorities concerned should take stern actions against all such quacks, and also make people aware of their dirty ploys.
