The 24th death anniversary of Prof Mohammed Noman, former vice chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, will be observed today (Sunday), said a statement.
Khatme Quaran and milad mahfil will be held on the occasion.
Besides, food will be distributed among orphans and poor.
Professor Noman Smriti Foundation has chalked out elaborate programmes to observe the death anniversary.
Recipient of "Ekushe Padak" and President gold medal, Professor Noman"s. relatives, well-wishers, students and admirers have been requested to pray to Almighty for the salvation of his departed soul.
