Death anniversary of Journalist Amin tomorrow

The 25th death anniversary of journalist Amin Ahmed Chowdhury, former assistant editor of the now defunct Bangladesh Times, will be observed tomorrow (Saturday), reports BSS.
Amin, also a former correspondent of Voice of America, World Service and the British daily, The Guardian, died of a massive heart attack on October 9, 1985 at the age of 40.
A Doa mahfil will be held at Green Corner Jam'e Mosque after Asr prayers, while cooked food would be distributed among the destitute.
Amin's widow, Rasheda Amin, has requested relatives, friends, colleagues and admirers of the family to join the doa mahfil and pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
