Death anniversary of Obaidul Huq today

The 2nd death anniversary of eminent journalist and litterateur Obaidul Huq will be observed today (Tuesday). He was the editor of the Bangladesh Observer, chairmen of Press Institute of Bangladesh and Nazrul Institute, says a press release.
In this connection Quran Khwani and Doa Mahfil will be arranged at the Rahmat-e-Alam Islam Mission Orphanage, Tejgaon, Dhaka.
A Milad and Doa Mahfil has also been arranged at Banani Bazar Jame Mosque Friday (Oct 16) after Asr prayers. The family members of the deceased requested all relatives, friends and well-wishers to attend and pray for the departed soul.
