Death threat to intellectuals

Members of Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested an activist of Jamaat-e-Islami for issuing death threat to politicians and intellectuals from the city's Tejgaon area on Tuesday night, reports UNB.
Identity of the arrestee could not be known immediately.
Tipped off, a team of DB police conducted a drive in the area and arrested the Jamaat activist, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) deputy commissioner (media) Muntasirul Islam.
