Deed writer killed in Gazipur

A deed writer has been hacked to death in Gazipur. Police recovered the body of Shahidul Islam, 35, from his house in Rajdighi neighbourhood in the district headquarters around 10:00am on Tuesday, Joydebpur police station SI Rajib Sheikh said. Shahidul Islam was also involved in trading of landed properties. Police suspect he may have been killed over dispute arising out of business deals. Assailants stabbed Islam with sharp weapons in his room in the morning, the SI said. The body was sent to Gazipur Sadar Hospital for autopsy, according to bdnews24.com.
