Deep convection continues over north Bay

Deep convection has been continuing over north Bay while steep pressure gradient is also persisting, reports UNB.
Squally weather may continue to affect the maritime ports, said a warning message of Met office.
Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla have been advised to hoist local cautionary signal number three.
Under its influence, heavy rainfall is likely at places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Barisal, Chittagong and Sylhet divisions during the next 24 hours commencing 10:00 am Thursday.
All fishing boats and trawlers over north Bay and deep sea have been advised to remain close to the coast and proceed with caution until further notice.
