Defence adviser's wife hands over Tk 1.45m to Proyash

Begum Shaheen Siddique, wife of defence adviser to the Prime Minister visited 'Proyash', a school for handicapped children in the city's Cantonment area and handed over Tk 1.45 million recently, said a press release.
Mrs Siddique also visited classrooms and witnessed academic programmes of the school.
Among others, patron of the school and wife of chief of Army Staff Begum Syeda Sharifa Mubeen, wife of Chief of Naval Staff Begum Shabnam Ahmed and wife of Chief of Air Staff Begum Shameema Zia were present on the occasion.
