NEW DELHI, Sept 13: New Delhi's mayor says a string of explosions hit crowded shopping areas in the Indian capital, killing at least eight people and wounding at least 61. CNN-IBN, a local television news channel, said it received an e-mail sent just before the blasts that read: "In the name of Allah, Indian Mujahedeen strikes back once more. ... Do whatever you can. Stop us if you can." Mayor Arti Mehra said as many as seven explosions went off Saturday evening, but authorities are still investigating. — AP
