Delta Life Open Squash tourney begins today

The Delta Life Open Squash Tournament, organised by Bangladesh Squash Racket Federation, begins today (Monday) at the Dhaka Squash court in the city, reports UNB.
Delta Life Insurance Vice Chairman Dr Mohammad Rowshan Ali will formally inaugurate the meet as chief guest at 5:30 pm.
Ninety participants from six divisions -- Premier Division, A-division, B-division, C-division, Under-18 division, above-40 and above-50 divisions -- will take part in the 12-day competition, sponsored by Delta Life Insurance.
The organisers have estimated the tournament budget at Tk 100,000.
Squash Federation general secretary Sohel Hamid disclosed the details at a press conference at the federation office this Sunday.
Delta Life Insurance Executive Director Akram Hossain and federation joint secretary Ershad Hossain were present.
