Delwar criticises government

BNP secretary-general Khandaker Delwar Hossain has criticised the government for failing to ensure peoples' welfare and said his party would provide directions to the nation from the December 8 national council, reports bdnews24.com.
"BNP's national council will give directions, which will serve the interest of democracy. Our chairperson will deliver a speech in this regard," he told reporters Saturday.
Delwar demanded necessary protection from the government for the council as well as BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia.
